At 2:30pm on Sunday 10/7/16 Tasmania Police Search and Rescue were notified of an injured walker at Adamsons Falls in the south of the state. The rescue helicopter was activated and the crew reached the inured 25 year old woman from Mornington and an uninjured 29 year old man from Mornington at last light. A difficult and very high winch operation took place at the falls which recovered both people from the scene. The injured woman was flown to the Royal Hobart Hospital in a stable condition.
