At 1:00am on Wednesday 20^th April 2016, the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was activated to search for two teenage youths who were reported missing in the Collinsvale area.

The youths were expected home at 5:30pm on 19^th April but had not returned.

At approximately 6:30am the pair were located by the helicopter in Sorell Creek.

A paramedic was winched to the scene and was able to walk the youths out to safety to nearby farmland.

Both youths were cold and exhausted but otherwise uninjured.
