On Thursday 17 December at approximately 5.00pm the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked to attend Deadman’s Bay on the South Coast for an injured bushwalker.

The 57 year old man from Hobart sustained a leg injury whilst transiting the Ironbound Range.

The helicopter flew to the location and transported the man to Hobart.
