At 1200hrs today the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was activated to medivac a 29 year old female who had fallen from her pushbike on Maria Island.

The woman suffered injuries to her face, arm and leg.  She was treated by a flight paramedic at the scene before being flown to Hobart in a serious but stable condition.
