At 0800hrs today the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was activated to medivac a 56 year old Western Australian man from Barn Bluff Hut on Tasmania’s Overland Track.  The man had suffered a heart attack.

He was treated at the scene by a flight paramedic before being flown to Launceston in a stable condition.
