At 10:30am on Tuesday 14/8/12 Ambulance Tasmania activated the Westpac Police Rescue Helicopter to attend Triabunna.

An 85 year old Swansea man had become involved in a serious motor vehicle on the Tasman Highway and was subsequently flown to the Royal Hobart Hospital.

The helicopter landed at the Triabunna Medical Centre where the patient was transferred from the road ambulance.
