Ground and air search continues for Elson Kiddle
The ground and air search for 70 year old West Moonah man Elson Kiddle continues today. Elson was last seen leaving his West Moonah home at 11am last Friday.
A ground search party made up of over 60 of Mr Kiddle’s close family and friend, 38 police and 21 SES members will participate in today’s effort to locate him.
The search will concentrate on line-searching bushland behind Lumeah Avenue, and surrounding gullies in the greater Lenah Valley area. The search area has increased to a six square kilometre radius, including the four square kilometre area searched yesterday.
The Search and Rescue helicopter has also joined the search from the air to include the Lost World area and pinnacle of kunanyi/Mt Wellington.
