Police seek witnesses after George Town assault

George Town Police are seeking assistance from the public after a 48-year-old man was assaulted in George Town on Monday 27 April 2015.

George Town Police Constable Aaron Bonner said, “The assault happened about 4pm in a car park at the intersection of Macquarie Street and Goulburn Street.

“In particular we are interested in speaking to anyone who may have observed a red BMW in the car park around the time of the incident”.

The man received only minor injuries and did not require any medical assistance.
