Police have charged a 33-year-old Gagebrook man with multiple offences following a standoff with police in Invermay yesterday.

The man has been charged with:

• Evade Police (Aggravated Circumstances)
• Motor Vehicle Stealing
• Assault a Police Officer
• Aggravated Assault
• Resisting a Police Officer
• Drive while Disqualified
• 7 counts of Breach of Bail

He will appear before an out-of-hours session at the the Launceston Magistrates Court at 10.30am this morning.
