Gagebrook deliberately lit house fire under investigation
Police are investigating a deliberately lit house fire in Gagebrook this morning.
Around 5.20am emergency services were called to a report of a house alight on Celtic Place.
Tasmania Fire Service extinguished the fire which appears to have started on the back door of the house before spreading quickly through the residence.
The house was completely destroyed with damage estimated at around $250,000.
Fire service investigators determined the fire to have been deliberately lit.
No one was inside the house at the time of the fire.
