Acting Inspector Philippa Burk of Glenorchy CIB says police will be having a meeting with Rachel Fisher, the mother of missing 10-year-old Jaymie Fisher, later this afternoon.

As Rachel Fisher is not the legal guardian of Jaymie Fisher, it is the express wish of Acting Inspector Burk to impress upon the public the necessity to return Jaymie Fisher to his legal guardian and as such the investigation will be ongoing until this is achieved.

Acting Inspector Burk states that anyone who is assisting the child or who may have information or knows the child’s whereabouts should come forward to police as a matter of urgency.
