The couple have walked out to the carpark at the start of the Wineglass Bay Lookout track.  The are safe and well and speaking to Police.

Tasmania Police are searching for a man and woman reported missing yesterday in the Freycinet National Park.

A man called Police on a mobile phone saying he had become separated from his companion while on a walk to the Wineglass Bay Lookout.

A Search & Rescue team was sent to the area and the helicopter was also deployed.  Police found the couple’s vehicle in the car park but no sign of the man or woman.

The search is continuing today.
