Results have been returned following forensic testing of a road near where Ben Plowright was last seen. The results are negative to blood.

The next steps in the investigation will be a further search of the river in the Perth area using kayaks and a low-flying helicopter.

The dates of the planned river searches have not been finalised at this stage

The 20-year-old Launceston man was last seen in the Perth area at about 9.30pm on 30 May 2015.
