At 3pm on 19 August 2022 police were advised of a violent passenger on a Jetstar flight (JQ753) from Brisbane to Launceston.

A youth had allegedly become violent during the flight and assaulted two members of the flight crew.

Police attended the aircraft and took the youth into custody.

The two crew members attended the LGH with minor injuries, both were released a short time later.
