At approximately 9pm on Wednesday 23 October 2019, police were called to attend Killarney Road, Bridgewater in response to reports of gun shots.  When they arrived it was discovered that a number of shots had been fired into the front of a house and that the person(s) responsible had fled.

Police believe that the shots were fired from a dark coloured sedan.  No person was injured as a consequence of this incident.  Detectives are investigating with the support of Bridgewater Uniform members.

Any person who observed a vehicle and occupants around the time of the incident in Killarney Road or with other relevant information is requested to call Tasmania Police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers.
