Police are continuing to investigate an incident in Herdsmans Cove yesterday where a man received a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Police and emergency services were called about 4.50pm yesterday after reports a person had been wounded.

Police conducted searches at a residence in Herdsman Cove overnight and at this early stage of the investigation, it is believed to be a targeted incident.

All roads in the Herdsman Cove area have now been re-opened to the public.
