A 24 year old man from Legana has been arrested in relation to a firearms incident in the Beauty Point area yesterday.

About 11am, a shot was fired from a vehicle containing two men.  The short was fired at a second vehicle, and the male passenger and driver were not injured.   The men are all known to each other.

A search was undertaken at a Legana address, and the offender was arrested.  He was charged with firearms offences and detained for court.

Investigations are continuing into the incident.
