Firearms and drugs seized in Ravenswood
At 1pm Tuesday 4 September 2012 Launceston Criminal Investigation Branch and Drug Squad detectives searched a property in Wildor Crescent, Ravenswood locating a number of stolen firearms, jewellery and drugs.
The drugs included nearly a kilogram of methylamphetamine with an approximate street value of over $200 000 and about 1500 pseudoephedrine capsules.
The 3 firearms located included 2 pistols stolen from the Hobart area in 2007.
A 23 year old man from Ravenswood was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, possessing stolen property and firearms offences.
A 21 year old female from Ravenswood was also charged out of this search with possessing stolen property.
Both were bailed to appear in the Launceston Court of Petty Sessions in October 2012.
Investigating are continuing into the property and drugs seized.
