Approximately 11:40pm on Tuesday 29 March 2016, a firearms incident occurred in Boondar Street, Chigwell.  It appears a number of shots from a small calibre weapon have hit the front of a house causing minor damage.

There were three occupants inside the house at the time, however no one was injured.

Investigations are underway including a forensics examination at the scene.  Early investigations suggest this incident was a result of a dispute between two parties known to one another, and police are following up specific avenues of enquiry in relation to this matter.

Police are seeking any information regarding the incident, in particular any vehicles that were seen in the street just prior to the incident.
