Firearm incident
On Friday 3rd May 2013, at approximately 10.46pm, Police were called to a residence concerning a report of a firearm being discharged through a house window at Aloomba Place, Gagebrook.
The projectile, believed to be a small calibre, has gone through the front lounge room window and caused damage to the ceiling.
No persons were injured as a result of the firearm being discharged.
Tasmania Police uniform officers, Glenorchy CIB, Ballistics and Forensics Officers attended the residence, where investigations at the scene were undertaken, including doorknocks of surrounding residences.
This incident is not believed to be related to a recent series of firearms incidents in the Bridgewater area and investigations are continuing at this time.
