Firearm Discharges in Glenorchy and Bridgewater

At approximately 9:30 pm on Thursday, 27 March 2014, Tasmania Police responded to a report of a firearm discharge at a residence in Glenorchy. A shot had been discharged into the closed front doorway of the residence. There were no injuries as a result of the discharge.

A short time later at approximately 9:55 pm, Tasmania Police responded to a report of several shots having been fired at a residence in Bridgewater. Shots had been discharged into a window at that residence. There were no injuries as a result of those discharges.

Uniform, CIB and Forensic Services officers attended the scenes.

Tasmania Police treat all crimes involving firearms seriously and seek assistance from any person who has information.
