Police are investigating an incident in Tea Tree in southern Tasmania this morning where a man received a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

The 59 year-old man from Sandford is in a stable condition after being shot in the neck during a hunting activity at a bush property in Tea Tree in southern Tasmania.

Investigations are ongoing but Is not believed to be suspicious at this stage.
