Firearm Discharge Gagebrook
Glenorchy CIB are investigating an incident which occurred shortly after 10pm on Wednesday night, 5 March 2014. At that time, police attended the report of a disturbance, which was a dispute between two parties known to one another and conducted initial enquires with the people involved.
Investigations conducted today, which included forensic examinations, have established that a firearm was discharged towards a residence at one point during the disturbance, with pellets striking one of the people involved. The discharge of the firearm caused minor injuries, of a non-life threatening nature, to an 18year old Gagebrook man.
