Police would like to hear from members of the public who stopped and assisted at a house fire at 276 Carlton Beach Road, Dodges Ferry, at approximately 5.30pm on Friday 5 November 2010.

It is believed the driver of a white van stopped at the front of the house and assisted the attending police gain entry to the rear of the house.

The driver’s details and those of at least two other people who rendered assistance could not be obtained at the time of the fire.

Police are hoping to hear from those people who assisted at the house fire, or any one who knows the identity of these persons, to contact Detective Constable Tilley at the Eastern District Criminal Investigation Branch on 62302685 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
