About 9.30pm this evening Tasmania Fire and Police Services attended a structural fire at the Launceston Church Grammar Prep School in Lyttleton Street, East Launceston.

It appears that a seat outside the office building has been deliberately set on fire and has spread to the offices in the Heritage Listed building.

Damage is estimated at $100,000 and police are investigating the matter.
