An 18 year old woman from Mt Stuart died as the result of a motor vehicle crash on South Arm Highway at the junction of Cremorne Avenue Cremorne at about 11.20am on Wednesday 16^th December 2015.

At the time the deceased was driving a green Mazda 2 in a westerly direction on Cremorne Avenue.  At the junction of South Arm Highway the Mazda was involved in a crash with a grey Toyota Land Cruiser.  The Land Cruiser was heading south on South Arm Highway.

Resuscitation attempts were made at the scene in an effort to revive the driver of the Mazda but unfortunately they were to no avail.  A 17 year old female from Cremorne was the front seat passenger in the Mazda.  The passenger received minor injuries.

The driver of the Land Cruiser was a 50 year old man from Glengarry.  His front seat passenger was a 54 year old man from Beauty Point.  Both occupants of this vehicle were uninjured.

Crash investigators would like to speak to any person who may have witnessed the crash or seen either vehicle prior to the collision.
