Sadly, a teenager has died after an incident involving a falling tree in Dover. 

Police and emergency services were called to the scene just after 4pm on Sunday. 

Initial inquiries indicate the 17 year old was felling trees with his father in the local area when he was struck by a falling branch. 

Tragically, he died at the scene. 

His father received non-life-threatening injuries. 

Our thoughts are with the victim’s family and loved ones at this difficult time. 

Police are investigating and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
