A 4 year old New Norfolk girl died as the result of a single vehicle crash on Boyer Road, Boyer on Saturday the 1st day of November 2014 at 6.03pm.

A white Mitsubishi magna sedan was being driven along Boyer Road from the direction of New Norfolk towards Bridgewater. The vehicle has failed to negotiate a closed left hand curve. The driver, a 33 year old woman from New Norfolk lost steering control. The vehicle overturned and the 4 year old girl, was ejected. She was declared deceased at the scene.

Four teenage passengers also in the vehicle were conveyed to the Royal Hobart Hospital for observation. They were not admitted.

The police crash investigator, Constable Adam HALL would like to hear from any member of the public who may have witnessed the crash or seen the vehicle prior to the incident.
