A 23 year old man from Bothwell has died in the Royal Hobart Hospital from injuries he sustained following a single vehicle crash on the Highland Lakes Road, 14.5km north of the township of Bothwell. The crash occurred on Friday 20^th  March 2015 at approximately 8.35pm.

The man was the sole occupant of a 2006 white Nissan Patrol utility which was travelling North on Highland Lakes Road which left the roadway and rolled after failing to negotiate a left hand curve in the road.

As the vehicle rolled the male was ejected from the vehicle. He was flown to the Royal Hobart Hospital by the Police Rescue Helicopter in a critical condition, and unfortunately passed away late this afternoon (Saturday 21/03/2015).

The crash investigator, Constable Adam HALL, would like to hear from any member of the public who may have witnessed the crash or seen the vehicle prior to the incident.
