Sadly, a man has died following a pedestrian crash in Huonville on Monday afternoon.

Police and emergency services were called to the scene on Main Street about 12:30pm, after the 74-year-old man was reportedly struck by a Ssangyong dual cab ute.

He was taken to hospital and sadly died of his injuries today.

Our thoughts are with the man’s family and loved ones at this difficult time.

The crash investigation is ongoing and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
