At approximately 11:30pm on Friday the 16th of September 2022, a motorcycle crash occurred on the East Tamar Highway, Rocherlea.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 26 year-old man from Youngtown, died at the scene.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

Tasmania Police, Ambulance Tasmania, and the State Emergency Service all attended the scene.

Inspector Darren HOPKINS will be available for comment after 12 noon on Saturday the 17^th of September 2022.
