At approximately midday on Monday 18^th of February 2013 Tasmania Police and Emergency Service personnel were called to attend a single vehicle fatal crash on Nubeena Main Road, Taranna approximately 1km west from the Arthur Highway intersection.

Tasmania Police crash investigators and Forensic staff attended the scene and carried out investigations relating to the crash which involved an elderly female driver. The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle a 1995 White Hyundai sedan which had been travelling east from Nubeena towards Taranna at the time of the crash.

Police are calling for any witnesses who may have observed the vehicle prior to the crash to contact Nubeena police station on 62501010 or 131444.
