A 77 year old woman from Rokeby died as a result of a two vehicle crash on Rokeby Road Howrah on Thursday 8 May 2014 at 12.35pm.

The collision occurred at the exit of Howrah Garden Centre, between a red Corolla Hatch (1990) and a Silver Kenworth truck (2004).

The deceased was making a right hand turn onto Rokeby Road when a west bound truck collided with the driver’s side of her car. There were no other occupants in either vehicle at the time of the crash. The truck was being driven by a 62 year old man from Sandfly, who was not injured in the collision.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the crash or saw either vehicle just prior to the collision.
