Sadly, a 29-year-old woman has died following a single vehicle crash on the East Tamar Highway, Bell Bay today.

Police and emergency services were called to the scene about 6.30am.

Initial inquiries indicate the woman was travelling north on the East Tamar Highway in a silver Mitsubishi Magna when they lost control of the vehicle.

The deceased woman was the only person in the vehicle at the time of the crash and sadly died at the scene.

Our thoughts are with the woman’s family and loved ones. A report will be prepared for the coroner.
