Police can confirm that two people have died following a crash on the Midland Highway today.

The crash involved a car and a truck.

The crash occurred on the Midland Highway, approximately 10km south of Ross near the Mona Vale turn off.

Police were called to the incident just after 1.30pm.

The highway remains blocked in both directions between Mona Vale Rd and Tunbridge Tier Rd.

Police are asking motorists to be patient as they are likely to face long delays.
