At approximately 6.05 am, Wednesday 13 April 2011, Police were advised of a two vehicle crash on the Midland Highway, approximately 450 metres south of the Mona Vale Road junction.
The crash has occurred on the southern side of a sweeping bend, when a north bound white Ford Falcon station wagon has crossed the centre line and into the path of a south bound Mack prime mover, with fully laden B Double trailers. The trailers were laden with pine logs.
