Fatal Crash involving motor cyclist – Lake Leake Highway Campbell Town

At 12:29hrs  on 12th March 2016, a 24 year old male rider of a green a Kawasaki motor cycle failed to negotiate a sweeping right hand bend, colliding with a tree on Lake Leake Highway travelling to the east coast. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash occurred approximately 20 km east along Lake Leake Highway from Campbell Town.

The male rider was riding with a group associates. From information obtained from witnesses at the scene it appears that speed was contributing factor in the crash.

The man was visiting from Sharon in Queensland with a group of associates and were travelling to the East Coast to camp.
