The male was travelling south on Constance avenue between McGough Street and Grove Road when he collided with the rear of a red Daewoo Lanos which was parked and unoccupied at the time, approximately 30 meters from the Grove Road intersection.

Witnesses in the area at the time approached the male to provide assistance however he accelerated south and crossed the intersection with Grove road and collided with another parked and unoccupied vehicle, a Mitsubishi Pajero, located approximately 35 meters south of the intersection.

The force of the collision pushed the Mitsubishi forward approximately 6 meters before colliding with the rear of a parked Hyundai Sanata.

Constance Avenue was closed to all traffic whilst Police Crash Investigators and Forensic Officers investigated the scene. The scene was cleared and the road was reopened to all traffic by 5.00pm.

The male was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, from witness accounts, and evidence at the scene police believe a medical condition suffered by the driver at the time of the crash is most likely to be the cause. Investigations are continuing and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
