A 20 year old man from Chigwell died as a result of a two vehicle crash on Cadbury Road, Claremont at approximately 5.30pm on Monday the 7^th day of April 2014.

The deceased was the rider of a Suzuki motor cycle travelling in a southerly direction on Cadbury Road. Whilst negotiating a left hand curve the deceased has lost control of his motor cycle.  The motor cycle, deceased and a 20 year old female pillion passenger on the motor cycle have slid along the road surface.

The motor cycle and the deceased have collided with the front of a dark coloured Toyota sedan which was being driven in the opposite direction by a 41 year old woman from Claremont.  The car driver was shaken but not injured.  The pillion passenger was conveyed to the Royal Hobart Hospital and admitted.

The crash investigator, Senior Constable Kelly CORDWELL would like to hear from any member of the public who may have witnessed the crash or seen either vehicle prior to the incident.
