Sadly, a 38-year-old man has died following a crash overnight.

Police and emergency services were called to the scene about 9.30am Sunday 27 August.

Initial inquiries indicate the man was travelling west on Backline Road, Forest in a silver Ford Territory when the vehicle has left the road coming to rest in water.

Anyone with information or relevant dash cam footage, is asked to contact police on 131 444.

Our thoughts are with the man’s family and loved ones. A report will be prepared for the coroner.
