An 82 year old male from Swanston has died as a result of an All-Terrain Vehicle crash on a rural property on Swanston Road, Swanston.

Between 1:30pm and 3:30pm on Tuesday, 19^th of November 2019 a male farmer and resident of the property was herding sheep on a POLARIS 4×4 ATV. The male driver was thrown from the vehicle which came to rest on him.

Ambulance Tasmania, Oatlands and Kempton police attended the crash and the male was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Forensic Services and Crash Investigation Services attended the scene and carried out an investigation. A report is being prepared for the Coroner.
