Around 1:00 am on Sunday 6 November 2011, the yard area of Dower Edi Works, Whitestone Drive, Austins Ferry was entered by unknown offenders.  Once in the yard offenders have stolen an Isuzu truck which was laden with a Hyundai excavator, of significant combined value.

Both the truck and excavator, distinctive in that both are yellow in colour, have since been recovered in Dodson Street, Rosetta. 

Police are now appealing to members of the public for any information relating to the stealing and recovery of these items.   

Relevant to the matter may be a report of a dark coloured, possibly Ford Falcon sedan, seen in Whitestone Driveat the time of the stealing.
