I welcome the outcome of the In-Principle Enterprise Bargaining Agreement ballot today as a positive move forward for the department.

The Agreement will assist in delivering certainty and growth, and provides an Industrial Relations platform for members for the next three years. Importantly the Agreement supports plans to maintain and increase police numbers.

The next step is to have the In-Principle EBA ratified by the Tasmanian Industrial Commission.

I’d like to thank members for their support of the In-Principle EBA and the Police Association of Tasmania for their commitment to the Agreement.
