Detectives from Western Drug Investigation Services and Devonport Criminal Investigation Branch executed a search warrant at an Ulverstone address on the morning of Tuesday 26^th January 2016.

Police located illicit drugs and a significant amount of property during the search including power tools, camping equipment, high end kids toys, collectables, jewellery and service medals.  Numerous items of property have been linked to recent home and business burglaries as well as shoplifting offences in the Devonport and Ulverstone areas.

A 47 year old man has been charged with drug offences, unlawful possession of property and outstanding arrest warrants.  The man has been detained to appear in an out of hours court sitting.

Detectives will make contact with complainants in the coming days to facilitate the viewing of property.
