Drug theft warning
Hobart CIB detectives investigating the theft of drugs from a Hobart veterinary clinic at the weekend have warned the thieves not to consume the drugs.
One of the bottles stolen from a safe contains a chemotherapy drug for treating cancer. It is extremely toxic if consumed and causes permanent damage to humans.
The drug irreversibly damages the adrenal glands.
