At approximately 9.30am on 30/5/12 Western Drug Investigation Services, with assistance from other Burnie Police, conducted two searches on units in the Upper Burnie area.

A large amount of ecstasy tablets, amphetamine, cannabis and prescription medication with a street value of approximately $9000 were seized together with approximately $3500.00 cash.

A 45 year old male who is affiliated with the Rebels Outlaw motor cycle gang and a 29 year old female from Burnie have been charged with drug trafficking and were bailed to appear in the Burnie Court of Petty Sessions on the 7th of August.
