Glenorchy Police are seeking information regarding the identity of a man believed responsible for causing damage to the front of the Glenorchy Police Station.

Just after 5.30am, a man parked a white Ford Falcon sedan at the Caltex Star Mart Service Station at 323 Main Road Glenorchy and entered the reception area. The man paid for one item before taking a small confectionery item and then fled the store without incident.

Several minutes later, the man has then driven his vehicle onto Main Road and then reversed into a glass sliding door of the Glenorchy Police Station causing damage before driving off along Main Road Glenorchy.
