Tasmania Police have charged two men with multiple offences including evade police after a number of crashes in the Hobart area yesterday.

Tasmania Police were notified of a Silver Volkswagen Golf driving recklessly in the Hobart bus mall and surrounding CBD area around 4.00pm yesterday.

Police allege the vehicle was involved in a number of crashes where it failed to stop. An hour later the vehicle was involved in a hit and run crash in Risdon.
The vehicle later stopped due to a mechanical issue.

An 18 year old man and a 19 year old man will appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court today charged with multiple driving and property offences.
