Two women were killed in a single vehicle crash on Sale Street, Huonville about 1.30am on Sunday the 13 November 2011.

The vehicle involved in the crash, a blue Holden Nova sedan, was being driven in an easterly direction on Sale Street.  In the vicinity of the junction of Lynch Street the driver, a 31 year old female from Huonville, failed to negotiate an open right hand curve.  The vehicle mounted the footpath on the northern side and collided with an aurora pole. 

The driver and her passenger, a 30 year old female also from Huonville died at the scene.

The crash investigator, 1/C Constable Kelly Cordwell, would like to hear from any member of the public who may have witnessed the crash or seen the vehicle immediately prior to the incident.
