Dogs killed in Collinsvale

Glenorchy police are investigating the killing of two pet dogs in Collinsvale on the 7th March 2012.

The Jack Russell and Terrier dogs were killed and placed in garbage bags along with a hand made sign and left on the corner of Church Road and Collinsvale Road in Collinsvale.

The sign warned people to keep their dogs locked up and that if it happened again then the person would take pleasure in shooting dogs.

Autopsies will be conducted on the dogs to determine the cause of death. The owners of the dogs are aware of the incident.

Police wish for anyone with information relating to the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000. People can remain anonymous and may be entitled to a reward.
